About PrepElephant

PrepElephant is an examination preparation platform built in India, for students and doctors preparing for medical, dental, allied health and engineering examinations. It rests on a simple principle: answer questions publicly and honestly on the website, and help you practise deeply in the app.

Everything on this website is free to read — genuinely useful answers, written to stand on their own. The PrepElephant app, launching now on Android and iOS, is where the practice happens: question banks, previous-year questions, mock tests, revision tools and study plans, organised examination by examination.

Who builds PrepElephant

PrepElephant comes from a doctor-run education family. Our material is prepared by doctors, educators and professionals familiar with the examinations we cover, and every page — on the website and in the app — carries the byline "Prepared and reviewed by the PrepElephant Academic Review Team". Nothing is published until it has passed that review. Exactly what review means, step by step, is described on our Academic review process page.

What PrepElephant covers

PrepElephant is built around the full journey of a medical career in India, with parallel pathways in engineering, dentistry and allied health:

• NEET-UG — the undergraduate medical entrance examination.
• JEE Main and Advanced — the engineering entrance examinations.
• MBBS university examinations — subject-wise preparation across the MBBS course, including practicals and vivas.
• NEET-PG and INI-CET — the postgraduate medical entrance examinations.
• FMGE — the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination.
• Residency — academic preparation for MD, MS and DNB residents.
• NEET-SS, INI-SS, DM, MCh and DrNB — the super-speciality examinations.
• Dental — preparation resources for dental students and postgraduate aspirants.
• Allied health — preparation material aligned to allied health course syllabuses.

The website and the app: two halves of one plan

The website answers questions. Exam guides, subject overviews, topic answers and frequently asked questions are published here, free, for anyone preparing — whether or not you use the app.

The app builds practice. Reading an answer is the beginning of learning; recalling it under examination conditions is the test. The PrepElephant app carries question banks, previous-year questions, mock tests, revision tools and study plans, so that what you read here becomes what you can reproduce in the examination hall.

What we value

• Authentic. Content is grounded in standard textbooks and the publications of the official examination bodies, and it is reviewed before publication — not after.
• Easy to remember. We write to be understood and recalled — structured answers, checklists and patterns rather than unbroken walls of text.
• Affordable. Pricing is shown honestly, course by course, inside the app at launch, and free samples come before every purchase, so you never pay to find out what you are buying.
• Keeps you on track. Study plans, revision tools and visible progress are built into the app, so every study session has a next step.
