What we collect on the website
The public website is designed to work without an account. What we collect in the apps
When you create an account in the PrepElephant app, we collect the details needed to provide the service — typically your name, phone number and the examination or course you are preparing for. As you use the app, we store your progress data (topics completed, questions attempted, test results and study-plan status) so that the app can track preparation and personalise revision. Payment transactions are processed by the relevant app store or payment gateway; we do not store your full card details.
How we use information
We use information to operate and improve the Services, to show your own progress to you, to send service-related communications (such as security messages), and — only where you have opted in — to send preparation updates and offers. We do not sell personal information.
Legal bases
Where required by law, we process information on the bases of performance of a contract (providing the Services you requested), legitimate interests (securing and improving the Services), consent (optional marketing communications) and legal obligation.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Services — for example hosting, analytics, messaging and payment providers — under agreements that restrict their use of the information, and when disclosure is required by law.
